There's absolutely no doubt that members of the U.S. Coast Guard are heroes. Since Sunday, they've rescued more than 4,322 people affected by Tropical Storm Harvey.
And some of those rescues are pretty dramatic. Here's a video the Coast Guard’s 8th District posted on Tuesday evening of an aircrew lifting a mother and her tiny baby from rising waters.

There were 25 helicopters assigned to Harvey rescue on Tuesday, according to the Coast Guard, which rescued more than 600 people.
They're working alongside ordinary citizens who've been using social media to help rescue each other after the storm dumped more than 51.88 inches of rain on Texas.
While not everyone can lift storm victims to safety with helicopters, you can donate to organizations trying to bring relief to the area.
