2,500 reporters flock to Singapore for Kim

The global spotlight is on Singapore, which is about to host a historic summit between U.S. President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un on Tuesday.

More than 2,500 reporters from local and international media are expected to cover the event there, according to the number of registrations at Singapore's Ministry of Communications and Information.

Many will work from the International Media Centre at the F1 Pit Building in the Marina Bay area. The center will open round the clock from 10 a.m. on June 10 to 10 p.m. on June 13, according to reports.

The South Korean government has set up a separate press center for the country's media staff.
